15 Things I Like About My Body (Whoohoo for Empowerment):
1) The fact that I don't need blusher, mascara or lipstick - it always looks like I'm wearing it anyway
2) Clear skin (on my face, anyway - too many scars on the rest of my body)
3) The way my lower legs look in little crochet slippers
4) My good posture (well, at least Diane says I have good posture)
5) Muscles in my upper arms and calves
6) My breasts (OK, so it's murder trying to find a nice dress when you're a D cup. Whatever, I don't think I could get used to small breasts now, as much as I complain about mine.)
7) The way my skin stays soft even though I refuse to use lotions on it
8) The dimples in my cheeks when I smile
9) The way I crinkle up my nose when I laugh
10) The fact that I have hips, even when I'm thinner (yeah, I complain about this as well, but again, I don't think I could get used to a boyish body, as much as I want one sometimes.)
11) The way my eyes change colour with my mood and the seasons
12) My front teeth - even though half my teeth are manky, the ones at the front look good ;-)
13) My strong feet (dancing en pointe does that to you)
14) Full lips - I've FINALLY got used to them *rolls eyes*
15) My hair - I am proof that the less you do to it the better condition it gets into. I do nothing other than wash it every other day and brush it in the morning and before I go to bed. Occasionally I blow-dry, if it's cold outside or I'm going to sleep after washing it.
(OK, some of that sounds conceited, but people need to learn to love things about themselves. And hey, there's plenty that I DON'T like. *rolls eyes*)
